Existence results for nonlinear Fourier problems with variable exponent growth
We study nonlinear problems which use the generalized $\alpha(x)-$Laplacian operator under Fourier boundary conditions with $L^{1}$ data. Our research establishes both weak and entropy solutions through the framework of variable exponent Sobolev spaces.

Solid Harmonic Wavelet Bispectrum for Image Analysis
The Solid Harmonic Wavelet Bispectrum (SHWB), a rotation‐ and translation‐invariant descriptor that captures higher‐order (phase) correlations in signals, is introduced. Combining wavelet scattering, bispectral analysis, and group theory, SHWB achieves interpretable, data‐efficient representations and demonstrates competitive performance across texture,

ABSTRACT Periodontitis, a chronic inflammatory disease initiated and sustained by plaque microorganisms and host immune response, remains an intractable oral disease and a leading cause of tooth loss worldwide. Traditional mechanical debridement and adjunctive antibiotic or antiseptic therapy often shows limited efficacy due to the complex anatomical ...

SPARSE GENERALIZED FOURIER TRANSFORMS ∗
Block-diagonalization of sparse equivariant discretization matrices is studied. Such matrices typically arise when partial differential equations that evolve in symmetric geometries are discretized via the finite element method or via finite differences.

In the present work, the main objective is to explore the solution of generalized heat using the offset fractional Fourier transform. The offset fractional Fourier transform is introduced, related theorems and essential properties are collected.

q-generalization of the inverse Fourier transform
A wide class of physical distributions appears to follow the q-Gaussian form, which plays the role of attractor according to a q-generalized Central Limit Theorem, where a q-generalized Fourier transform plays an important role.

Prior Expectations Bias Confidence Judgments Through Parietal Alpha‐Band Modulation
ABSTRACT Humans possess the metacognitive ability to estimate the likely accuracy of their own decisions through confidence judgments. Yet, whether prior information shapes confidence and the neural mechanisms mediating such influence, remain to be determined.

Stability and wave motion problems in continuous media with second sound [PDF]
In this thesis we investigate thermal convection and wave motion in models of second sound such as the Cattaneo model, Green and Laws model, Batra model, and Green and Naghdi model. For the Green and Laws and Batra models we also investigate questions of
