Multiobjective Codesign Optimization of a Planar Pneumatic Artificial Muscle‐Based Snake‐Like Robot for Enhanced Agility and Energy Efficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A codesign multiobjective optimization framework was developed to enhance the morphology and controller of a snake‐like robot driven by artificial muscles. It improved planar locomotion, agility, and power efficiency. The approach optimized link geometry and controller gains, revealing that shorter muscles near joints and longer linkages maximize ...

Multi-Level Safety Filtering Method for LLM Generation Security

open access: yesJournal of Computer Science and Frontier Technologies
Large Language Models (LLMs) exhibit limitations due to their static para-metric knowledge, leading to potential inaccuracies and an inability to incor-porate updated information. Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) mitigates this by integrating external knowledge bases. However, existing RAG paradigms face challenges such as information forgetting in

Multimodal Engagement Assessment in Children During Invented Story Paradigm With a Social Robot

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A multimodal framework is proposed to assess children's engagement during storytelling interactions with a social robot. Gaze, physiological, and behavioral data are combined and validated against observer ratings. An automated gaze‐labeling strategy is introduced, and supervised classifiers achieve high accuracy. The study supports scalable engagement
