Noncentral Generalized Multivariate Beta Type II Distribution

open access: yesRevstat Statistical Journal, 2013
The distribution of the variables that originates from monitoring the variance when the mean encountered a sustained shift is considered — specifically for the case when measurements from each sample are independent and identically distributed normal ...

Uniruled surfaces of general type [PDF]

open access: yesMathematische Zeitschrift, 2007
We give a systematic construction of uniruled surfaces in positive characteristic. Using this construction, we find surfaces of general type with non-trivial vector fields, surfaces with arbitrarily non-reduced Picard schemes as well as surfaces with inseparable canonical maps.

Variant of TYR and Autoimmunity Susceptibility Loci in Generalized Vitiligo. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
BACKGROUND: Generalized vitiligo is an autoimmune disease characterized by melanocyte loss, which results in patchy depigmentation of skin and hair, and is associated with an elevated risk of other autoimmune diseases.

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Introduction to generalized type systems [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Functional Programming, 1991
Abstract Programming languages often come with type systems. Some of these are simple, others are sophisticated. As a stylistic representation of types in programming languages several versions of typed lambda calculus are studied. During the last 20 years many of these systems have appeared, so there is some need

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

On New Generalized Ostrowski Type Integral Inequalities

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
The Ostrowski inequality expresses bounds on the deviation of a function from its integral mean. The aim of this paper is to establish some new inequalities similar to the Ostrowski's inequality.

Type one generalized Calabi–Yaus

open access: yes, 2017
We study type one generalized complex and generalized Calabi–Yau manifolds. We introduce a cohomology class that obstructs the existence of a globally defined, closed 2-form which agrees with the symplectic form on the leaves of the generalized complex ...

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...
