INVESTMENT PLANNING FOR ELECTRICITY GENERATION EXPANSION
Some of the essential features of electricity generation expansion planning are discussed here. The emphasis in this paper is on the development of a methodology to analyse electricity planning problems when the variables are deterministic and stochastic in nature.

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Sensitivity-based chance-constrained Generation Expansion Planning [PDF]
Abstract A Generation Expansion Planning problem with load uncertainty is formulated based on joint chance-constrained programming (CCP) and is solved by incorporating sensitivity into iterative algorithms. These algorithms exploit the characteristics of the system and its response to load variations. Sensitivities help to classify buses according to

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Identification of Generation Expansion Plans in Competitive Markets
Generation expansion planning plays a key role in the development of a power system. This paper contributes by developing a heuristic based on the results of a simulation model of the Central Interconnected System (SIC), which iteratively optimizes the number of expansion units necessary to accomplish certain assumptions and restrictions that a ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Evaluation of uncertainties on generation expansion planning [PDF]
In the deregulated power market the generator firms compete with each other to reach the maximum profit. And in this type of power market the investors encounter several uncertain parameters. Demand uncertainty is one of the main parameters can reduce the risk of investing when the planners consider in their planning.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...
