Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Genomic Characterization of Human DSPG3 [PDF]
DSPG3, the human homolog to chick PG-Lb, is a member of the small leucine-rich repeat proteoglycan (SLRP) family, including decorin, biglycan, fibromodulin, and lumican. In contrast to the tissue distribution of the other SLRPs, DSPG3 is predominantly expressed in cartilage.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Screening and characterization of prophages in Desulfovibrio genomes [PDF]
AbstractBacteria of the genus Desulfovibrio belong to the group of Sulphate Reducing Bacteria (SRB). SRB generate significant liabilities in the petroleum industry, mainly due to their ability to microbiologically induce corrosion, biofilm formation and H2S production. Bacteriophages are an alternative control method for SRB, whose information for this

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Characterization and Genome Sequence of the Mycobacteriophage Donny
We report the discovery of the novel bacteriophage Donny, a Siphoviridae virus that infects Mycobacterium smegmatis mc 2 155. Donny has a genome length of 69,691 bp and a G+C content of 68.5%. Donny shares 99% and 93% nucleotide identity with bacteriophages Acadian and

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.
