Colorectal Cancer Cell's Weapon: RNF32 Engages SPP1+ Macrophages to Foster Liver Metastasis, Targeted by Indole‐3‐Acetic Acid

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cytoplasmic RNF32 fuels CRC liver metastasis by degrading GSK3β, which stabilizes β‐catenin and activates Wnt/EMT. Moreover, RNF32 rewires the metastatic niche: it depletes CD8+/CD4+ T and NK cells while recruiting SPP1+ macrophages (which boost tumor stemness via CD44), fibroblasts, and immunosuppressive monocytes to aid colonization.

Gut Microbiota‐Non‐Coding RNA Axis in Immune Modulation and Disease: From Mechanisms to Clinical Translation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Immune homeostasis is indispensable for preserving organismal integrity, orchestrated through complex molecular networks encompassing immune cell dynamics, microbial cues, and epigenetic regulation. Among these, the gut microbiota‐non‐coding RNA (ncRNA) axis has recently garnered substantial attention as a multifaceted modulator of host ...

Utilizing co-abundances of antimicrobial resistance genes to identify potential co-selection in the resistome

open access: yesMicrobiology Spectrum
The rapid spread of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a threat to global health, and the nature of co-occurring antimicrobial resistance genes (ARGs) may cause collateral AMR effects once antimicrobial agents are used.
