Engineering Microbial Particles for Next‐Generation Biomedical Platforms

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Microbe‐derived particles (MDPs), which include extracellular vesicles, outer membrane vesicles, inclusion bodies, polysaccharide particles, and virus‐like particles, represent a rapidly expanding category of bioinspired nanomaterials. With their natural origin, intrinsic biocompatibility, and highly programmable functionality, MDPs serve as a ...

Morpho-physiological and biochemical responses and genomic stability of sweet corn (Zea Mays L. saccharata) to potassium ferrite nano-fertilizer

open access: yesBMC Plant Biology
A promising method for enhancing crop performance and improving nutrient use efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts is the use of nano-fertilizers. Herein, potassium ferrite nanoparticles (KFeO2-NPs) as a source of potassium, synthesized via a

A Novel CsYABBY3‐CsAS1 Feedback Loop Coordinates Trichome Differentiation and Cannabinoid Biosynthesis in Cannabis sativa L.

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel transcriptional module involving CsYABBY3 and CsAS1 is identified to regulate cannabinoid biosynthesis and trichome development. These factors mutually activate each other and form a protein complex via a conserved residue, acting synergistically to amplify metabolic flux through a coordinate feed‐forward mechanism.

Cumin Seed Oil Induces Oxidative Stress-Based Antifungal Activities on Fusarium graminearum

open access: yesPathogens
In this study, the antifungal activity of cumin seed oil (CSO) was tested on Fusarium graminearum. (i) Minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) and related concentrations (IC75, IC50, and IC25) were detected; (ii) toxicity was evaluated by a water ...

Kinsenoside Targets IDH1 to Restore Microglial Immune‐Metabolic Homeostasis for Alzheimer's Disease Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Dysregulated TCA cycle contributes to Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathogenesis. Here, we show that microglial isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) is a critical driver. Elevated IDH1 disrupts citrate metabolism and mitochondrial function, exacerbating AD pathology.

The Landscape and Regulation of Histone Crotonylation in Mammalian Gametes and Early Embryos

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Histone crotonylation undergoes a genome‐wide transition from broad domains to canonical narrow peaks during minor zygotic genome activation (ZGA). This remodeling is required for proper major ZGA and blastocyst formation. Disruption of this transition by transcriptional inhibition, metabolic perturbation, or HDAC1 dysfunction impairs embryonic ...

SDS‐CRISPR for Single‐Nucleotide Variant Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Structure‐disruption‐sensitive CRISPR (SDS‐CRISPR) converts structural instability into single‐nucleotide precision, thereby overcoming mismatch tolerance in canonical Cas12a and enabling versatile diagnostics across DNA, RNA, and microRNA targets. When applied to rapid IDH1 mutation detection for glioma genotyping and integrated with lateral‐flow ...
