Evaluation of maize hybrids and environmental Evaluation of maize hybrids and environmental stratification by the methods AMMI and GGE biplot stratification by the methods AMMI and GGE biplot

open access: yesCrop Breeding and Applied Biotechnology, 2010
The purpose of this study was to evaluate yield stability, adaptability and environmental stratification by the methods AMMI (Additive Main Effects and Multiplicative Interaction Analysis) and GGE (Genotype and Genotypes by Environment Interaction ...

Mapping Quantitative Trait Loci for Bioenergy Traits in Multiple Hybrid Populations of Lowland Switchgrass in Simulated‐Sward Planting

open access: yesGCB Bioenergy
Switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.) is a potential source of producing bioenergy from lignocellulosic biomass. Bioenergy traits are quantitatively inherited.

A molecular investigation of genotype by environment interactions. [PDF]

open access: yesGenetics, 1995
Abstract The fitnesses conferred by seven lactose operons, which had been transduced into a common genetic background from natural isolates of Escherichia coli, were determined during competition for growth rate-limiting quantities of galactosyl-glycerol, a naturally occurring galactoside.

Understanding and Overcoming Antibody‐Drug Conjugate Resistance: Biological Mechanisms and Emerging Analytical Frameworks in Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) transform breast cancer therapy, yet resistance limits their durability. Emerging evidence reveals that ADC failure is not solely tumor‐intrinsic but shaped by dynamic tumor–microenvironment interactions that alter drug delivery, processing, and response.

A Rare Allele of ST5 From Wild Rice Enhances Salt Tolerance in Rice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel salt‐tolerance gene ST5W, characterized by a unique 36‐bp promoter insertion, is found exclusively in a small subset of Oryza rufipogon and is absent in cultivated rice. Field trials confirm ST5W significantly enhances rice yield across diverse genetic backgrounds under saline conditions.

Bayesian additive regression trees for genotype by environment interaction models [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
We propose a new class of models for the estimation of genotype by environment (GxE) interactions in plant-based genetics. Our approach, named AMBARTI, uses semiparametric Bayesian additive regression trees to accurately capture marginal genotypic and ...

Fibronectin1‐Expressing Subicular Circuits Selectively Govern the Retrieval of Novel Object Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fibronectin 1 (FN1)‐expressing subicular subpopulations encode novel object preference and selectively govern retrieval of novel object recognition (NOR) via affecting excitability of entorhinal‐projecting circuit through large conductance Ca2+‐activated potassium (BK) channel. ABSTRACT Novel object recognition (NOR), referring to the cognitive ability

Targeting the PDK1/c‐Myc/SOX10 Signaling in Oligodendrocytes Alleviates Neuropathic Pain

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work reveals that oligodendrocyte homeostasis, mediated by PDK1, is a critical determinant of neuropathic pain (NPP) pathogenesis. Disruption of PDK1 in oligodendrocytes impairs SOX10‐dependent myelination programs through c‐Myc accumulation, leading to disrupted myelination and the pathophysiology of NPP.

PRMT1‐Mediated LDHA Methylation Drives STAT3 Lactylation to Orchestrate Intestinal Inflammation and Tumorigenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies an immunometabolic axis wherein SAM‐driven PRMT1 methylates LDHA, enhancing its activity. The resultant lactate induces STAT3 K709 lactylation, which stabilizes an active conformation to promote STAT3 phosphorylation and IL‐10 expression.

Disentangling non-crossover and crossover genotype by environment interaction for selection [PDF]

open access: yes
Genotype by environment interaction (GEI) is often categorised as non-crossover or crossover interaction, reflecting changes in the scale of genotype response between environments or changes in genotype rank.• The objective of this research is to ...
