Correlation studies for yield and its component traits in newly derived lines of kharif sorghum
Twenty six derived lines (named as AKENT number) along with resistant line (IS 18551), two susceptible lines (AKMS-14 B, DJ-6514) of kharif sorghum were evaluated for yield and yield components.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Genetic gain in Passiflora seed traits from recurrent selection among full-sib families
The germination potential must be considered in the selection of passion fruit genotypes, since vigorous seeds originate seedlings with a higher growth rate, resulting in superior plants with high agronomic performance.

Estimates of genetic parameters, genetic variability, and selection in the S1 generation of peach [PDF]
: The growing of peach in mild winter regions is made viable through the use of genotypes that have low need for cold conditions, and this is one of the main aims of breeding for these regions.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...
