PP1A Modulates the Efficacy of Lenvatinib Plus ICIs Therapy by Inhibiting Ferroptosis in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PP1A dephosphorylates Keap1 at the S104 site, stabilizing and promoting the nuclear translocation of Nrf2, which upregulates the expression of antioxidant genes and PD‐L1. This leads to suppressed ferroptosis and enhanced immune evasion, thereby improving the efficacy of TKI and ICI combination therapy.

The SlDOF9‐SlSWEET17 Module: a Switch for Controlling Sugar Distribution Between Nematode Induced Galls and Roots in Tomato

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Root‐knot nematode (RKN) disease seriously affects the yield and quality of vegetable crops. SlDOF9‐SlSWEET17 model helps plants resist RKN infection during early stage by switching off the sugar transport capacity of other SlSWEET proteins that are hijacked by RKNs.

Nephronectin (NPNT) is a Crucial Determinant of Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis: Modulating Cellular Senescence via the ITGA3/YAP1 Signaling Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Through a comprehensive multi‐omics analysis, this study identifies a marked reduction in Nephronectin (NPNT) expression within fibrotic lung tissue. This reduction impairs the binding capability to the ITGA3 receptor, consequently causing YAP1 to persist in the cytoplasm, where it undergoes degradation.

Potent Cross‐neutralizing Antibodies Reveal Vulnerabilities of Henipavirus Fusion Glycoprotein

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hendra and Nipah viruses (HNVs) pose significant threats to global health. This work reports potent cross‐neutralizing antibodies targeting the fusion glycoprotein (F) and reveals shared features of these antibodies and vulnerabilities of F, thereby guiding the rational design of countermeasures against HNVs and similar pathogens.

High-Throughput SNP Genotyping by SBE/SBH

open access: yes, 2005
Despite much progress over the past decade, current Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) genotyping technologies still offer an insufficient degree of multiplexing when required to handle user-selected sets of SNPs.

Generating Synthetic Genotypes using Diffusion Models [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
In this paper, we introduce the first diffusion model designed to generate complete synthetic human genotypes, which, by standard protocols, one can straightforwardly expand into full-length, DNA-level genomes. The synthetic genotypes mimic real human genotypes without just reproducing known genotypes, in terms of approved metrics.

CCDC80 Protects against Aortic Dissection and Rupture by Maintaining the Contractile Smooth Muscle Cell Phenotype

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Aortic dissection (AD) is accompanied by a decrease in CCDC80 in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). CCDC80 can interact with JAK2, and VSMC‐specific CCDC80 deficiency accelerates the progression of AD by activating the JAK2/STAT3 pathway involved in regulating the phenotype switching and function of VSMCs.
