PARAMETRIC STUDY OF THE INFLUENCE OF WIND ON THE DESIGN OF STEEL TUBULAR TOWERS WITH DIFFERENT GEOMETRIES ACCORDING TO THE EUROCODES

open access: yesce/papers, Volume 9, Issue 1, Page 374-383, April 2026.
Abstract The geometries of metallic tubular towers directly influence the interaction between wind action and the structural response of the tower itself. Analyzing these configurations and understanding how this interaction occurs is fundamental for proper structural design.

Surjectivity of the asymptotic Borel map in Carleman ultraholomorphic classes defined by sequences with shifted moments

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications
We prove several improved versions of the Borel-Ritt theorem about the surjectivity of the asymptotic Borel mapping in classes of functions with M-uniform asymptotic expansion on an unbounded sector of the Riemann surface of the logarithm.

Stemflow Dynamics in the Jamari National Forest (Brazilian Amazon): II. Solute Concentrations and Flux Dynamics

open access: yesBiotropica, Volume 58, Issue 2, March 2026.
Trees can redirect large volumes of rainwater to the base of their stems. This stemflow not only redistributes water but also channels canopy‐derived solutes to the forest floor. Building on research showing canopy geometry and bark properties govern stemflow volumes, we examined how those same traits modulate the biogeochemical side of this flux. Over

The cosymplectic Chern–Hamilton conjecture

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 113, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract In this paper, we study the Chern–Hamilton energy functional on compact cosymplectic manifolds, fully classifying in dimension 3 those manifolds admitting a critical compatible metric for this functional. This is the case if and only if either the manifold is co‐Kähler or if it is a mapping torus of the 2‐torus by a hyperbolic toral ...

The crucial role of meshing in computational fluid dynamics simulations for organic geometries in paleobiology: Describing fluid dynamics performance through best practices

open access: yesMethods in Ecology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 10, Page 2170-2194, October 2025.
Abstract Computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has become an essential tool for studying fluid interactions in biological systems. While widely used in engineering, its application in the natural sciences, particularly in paleobiology, remains limited due to the challenges of meshing complex organic geometries.

From Anticommutative Algebras to Combinatorial Structures: A Graph-Theoretic Approach

open access: yesAxioms
This article develops a combinatorial and graph-theoretic framework for the study of finite-dimensional anticommutative algebras. Given a fixed basis, we associate to each algebra a directed graph that may contain filled oriented triangles, encoding the ...
