Bone cancer pain and depression share a common origin: astrocytic A2‐to‐A1 transition in the posterior piriform cortex. This phenotypic shift disrupts the ATP–adenosine–A2AR–norepinephrine axis, simultaneously driving nociceptive and affective dysfunction.

Sepsis‐associated encephalopathy (SAE) lacks effective therapies. We developed ME@FDsi, a biomimetic nanodrug using a tetrahedral framework nucleic acid to deliver disulfiram and siTNFα. It crosses the blood‐brain barrier, targets M1 microglia, inhibits pyroptosis and inflammation, and scavenges ROS.

Neuron-like staining by different GFAP antibodies.
Neuron-like structures are stained by the GFAP+1 (A), GFAP C-terminal (B) and GFAP N-terminal (C) antibody (arrows). The C-terminal and N-terminal antibodies also stain astrocytes (B–C, arrowheads).

Targeting Lilrb4a in Apolipoprotein E4 (APOE4)‐associated Alzheimer's disease (AD) reprograms microglia toward a beneficial, phagocytic state. Genetic deletion or antisense inhibition of Lilrb4a suppresses p‐SHP2/NF‐κB/STAT1 signaling, restores PPAR‐linked lipid and energy metabolism, and reduces amyloid plaque burden and cerebral amyloid angiopathy ...

Integration of proteomics and bioinformatics in traumatic brain injury biomarker discovery
Background Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a significant medical crisis with no FDA-approved therapies to improve functional outcomes. Key biomarkers, such as glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), S-100 calcium-binding protein B (S-100B), and ubiquitin
