The Metal Content of Resolved Galaxies
We present a homogeneous metallicity analysis of old stellar populations in the Local Volume galaxies using data from the color–magnitude diagrams/tip of the red giant branch (TRGB) catalog of the Extragalactic Distance Database ( http://edd.ifa.hawaii ...

How ventures maintain stakeholder support amidst operational legitimacy threats
Abstract Research Summary We explore how ventures mitigate operational legitimacy threats—threats that originate within the venture and challenge claims relating to the venture's ability to deliver on its promised value proposition. Through an inductive study of four ventures working to deliver their promised products following successful crowdfunding ...

Atomic Hydrogen Scaling Relations at z ≈ 0.35
The atomic hydrogen (H i ) properties of star-forming galaxies in the local universe are known to correlate with other galaxy properties via the “H i scaling relations.” The redshift evolution of these relations serves as an important constraint on ...

Abstract In terms of mainstream sustainability economics, market‐led initiatives aimed at biodiversity restoration represent a productive, morally conscientious choice. Under this view, efforts in areas such as biodiversity offsetting, net gain, or finance are considered effective tools for preventing or managing environmental degradation.

Anatomy of giant spiral galaxies
We present B and I band photometry, gas and star kinematics and 3D modelling of 7 giant spiral galaxies. The stellar systems studied have morphological types spanning from S0/a to Sc and absolute magnitudes from -20.6 to -22.5. The spectra have been collected with the spectrographs Boller & Chivens and EFOSC2 of the 2.2m ESO-MPI telescope.

The Australian giant wood moth (Endoxyla cinereus) feeds within the galls of scale insects (Apiomorpha) before transitioning into its wood‐boring eucalypt larval phase. This transitionary phase may be key to its multi‐year development, at the end of which it can produce over 100 000 eggs.

The giant radio source 0917+75: Origin and properties
Context. Several author have studied the giant radio source GRS0917 + 75, but its origin remains unclear. Aims. This source is unusual, because of its large size and its location outside a rich cluster of galaxies.

Story2Board: A Training‐Free Approach for Expressive Visual Storytelling
Abstract We present Story2Board, a training‐free framework for expressive storyboard generation from natural language. Existing methods narrowly focus on subject identity, overlooking key aspects of visual storytelling such as spatial composition, background evolution, and narrative pacing.
