Aid Financing of Global Public Goods: an Update [PDF]

open access: yes
The paper compares different aggregates of aid financed global public goods and detects the presence, for the period 1995-2006, of the substitution effect between these aggregates and traditional aid that was found by former studies for earlier periods ...

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Financing the Provision of Global Public Goods [PDF]

open access: yesThe World Economy, 2004
This paper examines the concept of global public goods (GPGs) and in that context explores the extent of aid (ODA) presently being diverted to GPG provision and whether such diversion skews aid‐flows towards some recipients. These are examined on the basis of OECD data for the late 1990s.

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...
