Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

A new paradigm for global sensitivity analysis
It is well-known that Sobol indices, which count among the most popular sensitivity indices, are based on the Sobol decomposition. Here we challenge this construction by redefining Sobol indices without the Sobol decomposition. In fact, we show that Sobol indices are a particular instance of a more general concept which we call sensitivity measures.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Global Sensitivity Analysis of Structural Reliability Using Cliff Delta
This paper introduces innovative sensitivity indices based on Cliff’s Delta for the global sensitivity analysis of structural reliability. These indices build on the Sobol’ method, using binary outcomes (success or failure), but avoid the need to ...

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Global perspectives on nitrate aerosol dynamics: a comprehensive sensitivity analysis [PDF]
In recent years, nitrate aerosols have become a dominant component of atmospheric composition, surpassing sulfate in both concentration and climatic impact. However, accurately simulating nitrate remains a major challenge for global models due to complex

Global sensitivity analysis of groundwater related dike stability under extreme loading conditions [PDF]
With up to 15% of the world’s population being protected by dikes from flooding, climate-change-induced river levels may dramatically increase the flood risk of these societies.

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...
