The continuing significance of chiral agrochemicals

open access: yesPest Management Science, Volume 81, Issue 4, Page 1697-1716, April 2025.
In the time frame 2018–2023, around 43% of the 35 chiral agrochemicals introduced to the market (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, acaricides, and nematicides) contain one or more stereogenic centers in the molecule, and almost 69% of them have been marketed as racemic mixtures of enantiomers or stereoisomers.

Metabolite‐based resistance in wheat varieties to aphid virus vectors: progress and future opportunities

open access: yesPest Management Science, EarlyView.
Sitobion avenae and Rhopalosiphum padi are major pests on wheat. Natural product‐based aphid resistance holds promise for the sustainable control of these pests. The current literature is discussed, highlighting knowledge gaps and challenges that need addressing. Abstract Cereal aphids, Sitobion avenae and Rhopalosiphum padi, cause severe yield loss in

Dendranthema oreastrum (Hance) Y.Ling Attenuates Oxidative Stress and Airway Inflammation in a Murine Model of Lipopolysaccharide‐Induced Acute Lung Injury

open access: yesEnvironmental Toxicology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We examined the antioxidant and anti‐inflammatory effects of the methanolic extract of Dendranthema oreastrum (Hance) Y.Ling, commonly known as “Gu‐Jeol‐Cho” in Korea and widely found across East Asia, using an LPS‐induced acute lung injury (ALI) mouse model and TNF‐α‐stimulated NCI‐H292 cells.
