This article introduces an innovative droplet microfluidic technique for creating drug‐crystal‐loaded microgels that facilitate potent extracellular vesicle production from mesenchymal stromal cells. By mitigating oxidation propagation, these microgels boost neurogenesis and establish functional neuronal connections in microphysiological systems ...

Viscosity Modification of Gum Arabic as a Means of Enhancing Gum Quality [PDF]

Metarhizium anisopliae alleviates the phytotoxic effects of polyethylene nanoplastics (NP) and lead (Pb) in rice by decreasing Pb uptake, restoring antioxidant and hormonal equilibrium, and promoting growth. Additionally, the fungus modifies the rhizosphere microbiota, enhancing both contaminant tolerance and plant growth, thereby effectively ...

Transcriptomic data indicates that gene expression responses underlying developmental thermal plasticity differ from those of short‐term acclimation temperature in the butterfly Pieris rapae. We also identify a small subset of genes for which expression levels depend on the interaction of developmental temperature and short‐term acclimation temperature.

Synthesis of Uridine Diphosphate-Glucuronic Acid
Uridine 5'-phosphoramidate (I) was allowed to react with α-glucuronic acid 1-phosphate (II), and α-uridine diphosphate glucuronic acid (α-UDPGA) (III) was isolated from the reaction mixture by ion exchange chromatography. Likewise, β-UDPGA (V) was produced from (I) and β-glucuronic acid 1-phosphate (IV).

Zinc Treatment Reverses and anti-Zn-Regulated miRs Suppress Esophageal Carcinomas In Vivo [PDF]
Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is a deadly disease with few prevention or treatment options. ESCC development in humans and rodents is associated with Zn deficiency (ZD), inflammation, and overexpression of oncogenic microRNAs: miR-31 and miR ...
