Morphine‐3‐glucuronide prevents tolerance to morphine‐6‐glucuronide in mice

European Journal of Pain, 1997
Daily subcutaneous (s.c.) pretreatment with morphine‐3‐glucuronide (6 mg/kg) was found to reduce morphine‐6‐glucuronide (4 mg/kg s.c.)‐induced antinociception, with no decrease in the effect over 5 days. Morphine‐6‐glucuronide administration (4 mg/kg s.c.) on Day 6, without morphine‐3‐glucorinide pretreatment, results in a significant increase in ...

Preparation of specific antisera to estrone-3-glucuronide and estriol-3-glucuronide

Journal of Steroid Biochemistry, 1984
The preparation and antigenic properties of estrone-3-glucuronide- and estriol-3-glucuronide-bovine serum albumin conjugates in which the hapten is linked to the carrier protein through an (O-carboxymethyl)oxime bridge at the C-6 position on the steroid nucleus, have been described.

The Effect of Raltegravir on the Glucuronidation of Lamotrigine

The Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, 2009
The authors studied the effect of raltegravir on the pharmacokinetics of the antiepileptic agent lamotrigine. Twelve healthy volunteers (group A) received 400 mg raltegravir twice daily from days 1 to 5. On day 4, a single dose of 100 mg lamotrigine was administered.

Identification and characterization of human UDP-glucuronosyltransferases responsible for the glucuronidation of fraxetin.

Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics, 2014
Fraxetin, a major constituent of the traditional medicine plant Fraxinus rhynchophylla Hance (Oleaceae), has been found to possess multiple bioactivities. However, the metabolic pathway(s) of fraxetin in human tissues has not been reported yet.

Human liver glucuronidation of benzidine

Carcinogenesis, 1994
Although glucuronidation is considered an important pathway in aromatic amine-induced bladder cancer, benzidine glucuronidation has not been assessed in humans. Glucuronidation of benzidine was assessed with human liver microsomes and slices. Emulgen 911-treated microsomes exhibited a Km for benzidine of 0.8 +/- 0.06 mM and a Vmax of 4.2 +/- 0.7 nmol ...
