Light‐Mediated Insulin and Amylin Secretion: Influence of Irradiation Parameters in Optogenetically Modified Mouse‐Pancreatic β Cells

This study demonstrates variation in photo‐induced secretion of insulin and amylin from Channelrhodopsin‐2 expressing MIN6 cells under different irradiation conditions. For the first time, an alteration in the relative ratio of amylin: insulin is observed with varying irradiation conditions.
