Explainable Deep Multilevel Attention Learning for Predicting Protein Carbonylation Sites
Selective carbonylation sites (SCANS) are conceptualized, designed, evaluated, and released. SCANS captures segment‐level, protein‐level, and residue embeddings features. It utilizes elaborate loss function to penalize cross‐predictions at the residue level.

High QSOX2 enhances stemness, drug resistance, and metastasis of ESCC cells. QSOX2‐mediated disulfide bond modification activates mTOR/c‐Myc signaling. CAFs‐secreted IGF‐1 drives mTOR/c‐Myc/QSOX2 positive feedback loop. Combining Ebselen, rapamycin, and cisplatin induces tumor dormancy in mice.

Antibacterial effects of the methanolic extract of Glycine Max (Soybean) [PDF]
High occurrence of antibiotic resistance in pathogenic bacteria is caused by the use of natural medicinal plants to eliminate risk of infectious diseases. Glycine max is on the most popular and nutritious foods with high antimicrobial effects. The present research was done to study the antibacterial effects of the methanolic extract of G.

Potent Cross‐neutralizing Antibodies Reveal Vulnerabilities of Henipavirus Fusion Glycoprotein
Hendra and Nipah viruses (HNVs) pose significant threats to global health. This work reports potent cross‐neutralizing antibodies targeting the fusion glycoprotein (F) and reveals shared features of these antibodies and vulnerabilities of F, thereby guiding the rational design of countermeasures against HNVs and similar pathogens.

Postanoxic Injury in Soybean (Glycine max) Seedlings [PDF]
The postanoxic injury, also known as reperfusion injury, is associated with the returning of anoxic tissues to normal atmosphere. Using tetrazolium chloride staining, ATP content, and seedling growth rate as indicators, we found that postanoxic injuries in soybean (Glycine max) seedlings were more severe after 1 and 2 hours of anoxia than after longer ...
