The StERF10‐StGSH1 module coordinates glutathione (GSH) biosynthesis under low‐phosphorus stress. The low‐phosphate‐induced AP2/ERF transcription factor StERF10 directly activates the transcription of StGSH1 and enhances GSH accumulation. Consequently, GSH scavenges reactive oxygen species and provides sulfur for sulfolipid synthesis, facilitating the ...

The development of a novel engineered strain of Lactiplantibacillus plantarum (Lp) is reported that can produce bacterial extracellular vesicles (BEVs) at >60‐fold higher yields than the unmodified parental strain. These Lp BEVs retain therapeutic bioactivity as validated in a mouse model of dextran sodium sulfate‐induced colitis.

Cytokine‐engineered CAR‐T cells represent a promising immunotherapy against malignancies due to direct tumor killing and potent immunity response. However, significant toxicities, including CRS and ICANS, have restricted clinical applications. How to keep the risk‐benefit balance of the advanced therapy is of great importance for maximizing the benefit

A computational high-throughput screening approach of iNKT-agonists: a novel tool to find optimized iNKT cell ligands [PDF]
Depending on the environment and the activating glycolipids, iNKT cells are known to induce T-helper 1 and/or T-helper 2 cytokines. This highly versatile nature makes these innate-like cells very interesting targets for immunomodulation.

Flagellar membrane association via interaction with lipid rafts [PDF]
The eukaryotic flagellar membrane has a distinct composition from other domains of the plasmalemma. Our work shows that the specialized composition of the trypanosome flagellar membrane reflects increased concentrations of sterols and saturated fatty ...
