Comparison of in Vitro Digestibility Characteristics and Regulatory Effects on Infant Intestinal Flora between Different Milk Powders and Soybean Powder

open access: yesShipin gongye ke-ji
To investigate the digestive characteristics of milk and soybean powders from different sources in the infant gastrointestinal tract and their effects on gut microbiota, this study compared cow milk powder (CM), goat milk powder (GM), sheep milk powder ...

WFS1 Deficiency Impairs PIAS4‐Associated SUMOylation and Increases Ubiquitin‐Mediated Spermatogenesis‐Related Protein Degradation Leading to Testicular Male Infertility

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The findings establish a critical role for WFS1 in human male fertility. Mechanistically, WFS1 interacts with PIAS4 to promote the SUMOylation of key spermatogenesis‐associated proteins, which in turn competitively inhibits their K48‐linked ubiquitin‐mediated degradation during spermatogenesis.

Proteomics and surface free fatty acid analysis of milk fat globules in spray- and freeze-dried bovine, goat, and horse milk powders

open access: yesJournal of Dairy Science
: Changes in the structure and composition of milk fat globules in spray- and freeze-dried milk powders have recently garnered notable attention. This study investigated changes in milk fat globular membrane (MFGM) proteins from bovine, goat, and horse ...

Optimization of Goat Milk with ACE Inhibitory Peptides Fermented by Lactobacillus bulgaricus LB6 Using Response Surface Methodology

open access: yesMolecules, 2017
In the present study, the incubation conditions of goat milk fermented by Lactobacillus bulgaricus LB6 were optimized to increase the angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE, EC 3.4.15.1) inhibitory activity by Box–Behnken design of response surface ...

Drying Goat's Milk by Spray Dryer: Physical-Chemical Characterization of Goat's Milk in Natura, in Powder and Reconstitutedle

open access: yes
Goat milk is a nutritious food, with high levels of vitamins and minerals. In this context, there is a growing need to improve preservation techniques. Thus, the present work was developed with the aim of drying goat milk using a spray dryer. Chemical, physical, and physicochemical analyses of powdered goat milk and reconstituted goat milk were ...

Receptor‐Triggered Peptide Self‐Assembly Enables Multivalent Recruitment of Endogenous Antibodies for Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Receptor‐triggered supramolecular self‐assembly converts monovalent antibody‐recruiting molecules into multivalent platforms directly on cancer cell membranes. The resulting fibrillar assemblies present clustered haptens that efficiently recruit endogenous antibodies, enabling selective complement‐mediated immune killing of EGFR‐positive cancer cells ...

ELF5‐Mediated Enhancer–Promoter Interaction Regulates LALBA Expression in Ovine Mammary Gland

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In the study, we systematically investigate the epigenetic mechanisms underlying lactation traits in sheep by integrating transcriptomic, chromatin accessibility, histone modification, and functional analyses. We identify a super‐enhancer at the LALBA locus and demonstrate that enhancer E4 functions as its core regulatory element.

Differentiation and characterization of volatile compounds in five common milk powders using HS-GC-IMS, HS-SPME-GC–MS, and multivariate statistical approaches

open access: yesFood Chemistry: X
Aroma is a key factor in milk powder quality evaluation and consumer choice. However, research has mostly focused on processing effects, with little on flavor differences among milk powders.

Baihe Zhimu Decoction ameliorates anxious depression via PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway‐mediated neuroprotection and inhibition of hippocampal neuronal apoptosis

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
Baihe Zhimu Decoction alleviates anxious depression‐like behaviors and protects hippocampal neurons. Chemical profiling and network pharmacology reveal multiple active components acting via the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway, enhancing neuronal survival and function, as confirmed by multi‐level in vitro and in vivo validation.
