Diseases of the Colon & Rectum, 2007Goblet cell appendiceal carcinoids represent rare tumors that exhibit histologic features of both adenocarcinomas and neuroendocrine tumors. We present the long-term results of a series of 15 patients, focusing on clinical manifestations, diagnosis, and management.Eight male and seven female patients (median age, 52.8 years) were included.
