[A Case of Appendiceal Goblet Cell Carcinoma].

Gan to kagaku ryoho. Cancer & chemotherapy
A 72-year-old man complained of right lower abdominal pain. A CT scan showed an acute appendicitis. Laparoscopic appendectomy was performed. Histopathological examination of the resected specimen identified goblet cell adenocarcinoma(GCA), predominantly extending through the muscularis propria of the appendix. The tumor invaded into the serosal tissue.
