Coaxially Electrospun Myocardial dECM‐ Based Nanofibrous Scaffolds Demonstrate Enhanced Cardiomyocyte Biocompatibility

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Our coaxial electrospinning system is capable of incorporating decellularized myocardial extracellular matrix in a core‐sheath configuration, creating nanofibrous scaffolds. These scaffolds, in turn, support the maintenance of functional cardiomyocytes adhered to the surface of these bioactive scaffolds.

Rational Assembly of Metallophilic Gold(I)–Lead(II) and Gold(I)–Gold(I) Puzzle Pieces

Angewandte Chemie, 2020
AbstractThe assembly of two different building blocks, [{Au(C6F5)2}{PbCl(terpy)}] (terpy=2,2′:6′:2′′‐terpyridine) and [{Au(C6F5)2}2{Pb(terpy)}]n, acting as terminal or central pieces, respectively, gives rise to a decanuclear complex built via metallophilic and π‐stacking interactions in which the number of AuI⋅⋅⋅AuI and AuI⋅⋅⋅PbII contacts is finely ...

Gold(I) and Gold(III) Corroles

Chemistry – A European Journal, 2011
AbstractCorrole complexes with gold(I) and gold(III) were synthesized and their structural, photophysical, and electrochemical properties investigated. This work includes the X‐ray crystallography characterization of gold(I) and gold(III) complexes, both chelated by a corrole with fully brominated β‐pyrrole carbon atoms. The mononuclear and chiral gold(

Molecular Gold—Multinuclear Gold(I) Complexes

Angewandte Chemie, 2000
Aurophilicity has been a topic of immense interest and has played an important role in multinuclear gold(I) chemistry. Several polynuclear gold(I) chalcogenido, amido, and mixed-metal complexes have been reported very recently which might give new insights into the strategies for the construction of multinuclear gold(I) clusters.
