Gold Complexes of Trithiocyanuric Acid:  A Two-Dimensional Polymer Assembled through Gold(I)···Gold(I) Interactions

Inorganic Chemistry, 1999
The 2,4,6-trithiocyanurate complex [2,4,6-C3N3(SAuL)3] is stable when L = triphenylphosphine, but when L = tert-butyl isocyanide, it reacts to give the hexagold(I) complex [{C3N3(AuL)(SAuL)S2(μ-Au)}2], which contains short intramolecular Au···Au bonds and forms a novel two-dimensional sheet structure through intermolecular Au···Au bonding.

Gold(I) Complexes of Tetrathiaheterohelicene Phosphanes

Inorganic Chemistry, 2013
New tetrathia[7]helicene-based (7-TH-based) gold(I) complexes 6 and 7 have been readily prepared by reaction of the respective phosphine ligands 2 and 3 with Au(tht)Cl in a 1:1 and 1:2 molar ratio, respectively. These complexes have been fully characterized by analytical and spectroscopic techniques as well as quantum chemical calculations.

Golding's Englished Metamorphoses

Translation and Literature, 1996
Golding's Ovid has regularly attracted slightly patronizing affection from twentieth-century critics and editors.2 Gordon Braden, in the best recent study, provides an account of the translation as an Elizabethan Ovid of a particular kind: the product of an intellectual mediocrity with a certain charm, which is characteristically Elizabethan without ...

Gold(I)-Komplexe mit Aminliganden, II. (Methylpyridin)-Komplexe von Gold(I) Gold(I) / Complexes with Amine Ligands, II. Methylpyridine Complexes of Gold(I)

Zeitschrift für Naturforschung B, 1998
Abstract Gold(I) complexes of overall formula LAuCl (L = various methylpyridines) are non-conducting in acetone. X-ray structure analyses show that the solid state structure of the cor responding complex 1 (L = 2-picoline) is molecular; the 3-picoline derivative 2 is however ionic (L2Au)+(AuCl2)-.

Synthesis and Characterization of Sulfur-Ylide Complexes of Gold(I). Observance of Intermolecular Gold(I)−Gold(I) Interactions in Solution

Organometallics, 1997
Under PTC/OH- (PTC = phase-transfer catalysis) conditions, the reaction of Au2(dppm)Cl2 (dppm = 1,1-bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) with [Me2S(O)NMe2]BF4 produces a greenish luminescent compound [Au...
