Bio‐Orthogonally Crosslinked Supramolecular Polymer Bottlebrush Hydrogels for Long‐Term 3D Cell Culture

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Fibrous benzenetrispeptide (BTP) hydrogels, fabricated via strain‐promoted azide‐alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC) crosslinking, form robust, bioinert networks. These hydrogels can support 3D cell culture, where cell viability and colony growth depend on the fiber content.

Celeritas: Accelerating Geant4 with GPUs

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
Celeritas [1] is a new Monte Carlo (MC) detector simulation code designed for computationally intensive applications (specifically, High Lumi- nosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) simulation) on high-performance heterogeneous architectures. In the past two years Celeritas has advanced from prototyping a GPU-based single physics model in infinite ...

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Atomic Layer Deposition in Transistors and Monolithic 3D Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Transistors are fundamental building blocks of modern electronics. This review summarizes recent progress in atomic layer deposition (ALD) for the synthesis of two‐dimensional (2D) metal oxides and transition‐metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), with particular emphasis on their enabling role in monolithic three‐dimensional (M3D) integration for next ...

LHCb GPU acceleration project

open access: yesJournal of Instrumentation, 2016
The LHCb detector is due to be upgraded for processing high-luminosity collisions, which will increase data bandwidth to the event filter farm from 100 GB/s to 4 TB/s, encouraging us to look for new ways of accelerating Online reconstruction. The Coprocessor Manager is a new framework for integrating LHCb's existing computation pipelines with massively

Graphene Nanosheet‐Based Mixed Proton‐Electron Conducting Membranes for Efficient Hydrogen Purification

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A monolayer graphene/phosphoric‐acid mixed proton‐electron conducting membrane combines proton‐conducting nanoconfined acid channels with electron‐conducting graphene nanosheets for efficient high‐temperature hydrogen purification. The membrane achieves nearly 100% H2/CO2 selectivity and 69 GPU hydrogen permeance at 250°C, arising from synergistic ...

GPU accelerated AES

open access: yes, 2017
An open-source AES GPU implementation has been developed from scratch with CUDA. The implementation is based in lookup tables and supports ECB, CTR, CBC*, and CFB* operation modes. Factors such as the parallelism level, the use of constant and shared memory, asynchronous page-locked IO, and overlapping between data transfers and calculations has been ...

Biofabrication of Endothelialized, Intrinsically Vascularized 3D‐Printed Recombinant Spider Silk Scaffolds

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study evaluates 3D‐printed recombinant spider silk hydrogel eADF4(C16)‐RGD in a rat AV loop model for tissue engineering. Constructs with T17b endothelial progenitor cells showed enhanced vascularization and biodegradation. Results highlight the importance of scaffold design and cellular integration in improving vascular density and overall ...
