The effects of different combinations and varying concentrations of growth regulators on the regeneration of selected Turkish cultivars of melon [PDF]
Cucurbits are an economically important family of plants. The majority of the vegetable production in Turkey, for example, derives from the species beloning to the family Cucurbitaceae. Despite the importance of cucurbits among vegetable crops worldwide,

Effect of the application of jasmonic acid and benzoic acid on grafted watermelons yield under greenhouse conditions in the southeast of Spain for mitigation of stress [PDF]
One of the main problems of watermelon crops in Sou theast Spain is the thermal difference because of c limatic conditions that appear during the first stages of the crop. The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of inducing the systemic

Eggshell‐Based Biochar for Superior Adsorption of Crystal Violet Dye and Fluoride From Wastewater
ABSTRACT Present study investigates the efficiency of eggshell biochar as a low‐cost and ecofriendly adsorbent for the simultaneous removal of fluoride ions and crystal violet (CV) dye from wastewater. The eggshell waste was pyrolyzed to produce biochar, which was thoroughly characterized and subsequently employed for contaminant adsorption.

Effect of Grafting on Watermelon Plant Growth, Yield and Quality
In this study, the effect of different rootstocks on watermelon plant growth, fruit yield and quality were studied by comparing grafted plants with non-grafted ones under low tunnels for early production and later open field growing conditions. The watermelon (Citrullus lanatus (Thunb.) Matsum and Nakai) cultivar Crispy was grafted onto TZ-148 and RS ...
