A Nanoparticle‐Integrated Complete Manufacturing Pipeline of Chemically Engineered Exosomes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 32, 9 June 2026.
We report a novel manufacture technology of chemically engineered exosomes. The four steps of manufacturing, i.e., biogenesis, loading, isolation, and storage, are integrated by the use of a nanoparticle. The manufacture technology incorporates three innovative components, i.e., a new nano‐bio effect, a new composite nanoparticle, and a new isolation ...

Gonadal Histology and Spawning Season of Otolithoides pama in the Thanlwin River Estuary

open access: yesAquaculture, Fish and Fisheries, Volume 6, Issue 3, June 2026.
ABSTRACT The spawning season of Otolithoides pama in the Thanlwin estuary was estimated through gonadosomatic index (GSI) and histological analyses of gonadal development. A total of 290 specimens (240 females and 50 males) were collected monthly from 5 sites—Ahlat, Kyauk Tan, Daye, Nyaung Pin Seik and Tarana—between January and December 2024.

Docetaxel‐Induced Serositis Mimicking Malignant Pleural Effusion

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Pleural effusions are common in patients with cancer. Although their development may signal progressive malignant disease, drug‐induced effusions are a rare and often overlooked cause of exudative pleural effusions. We describe a 50‐year‐old woman with recurrent granulosa cell tumor of the ovary who developed bilateral pleural and pericardial ...

Bilateral Gonadoblastoma in a 12‐Year‐Old Girl 4 Years After Wilms' Tumor: A Rare Pediatric Case

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT This case of a 12‐year‐old patient who developed bilateral gonadoblastoma 4 years after treatment for Wilms tumor highlights the importance of rigorous, risk‐adapted long‐term surveillance and careful evaluation of incidental gonadal findings, even in asymptomatic patients.

Heterogeneity of Ex Vivo Tumor Responses in Ovarian Cancer Tissues

open access: yesCancer Reports, Volume 9, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Advanced‐stage ovarian cancers exhibit significant variability in responses to standard chemotherapy ranging from platinum‐refractory to platinum‐sensitive cancers. While genomic testing reveals tissue heterogeneity, it rarely provides actionable data for guiding therapy.

Granulosa cell insight: unraveling the potential of menstrual blood-derived stem cells and their exosomes on mitochondrial mechanisms in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)

open access: yesJournal of Ovarian Research
Background Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) presents a significant challenge in women’s reproductive health, characterized by disrupted folliculogenesis and ovulatory dysfunction.

Transcriptomic analysis of the effects exerted by curcumin on dihydrotestosterone-induced ovarian granulosa cells

open access: yesFrontiers in Endocrinology
PurposeHyperandrogenism is a leading cause of developmental retardation in ovarian granulosa cells. Previous studies have indicated that curcumin significantly improves follicular dysplasia, a characteristic of the polycystic ovary syndrome.

Effects of Total Flavonoids From Rubus chingii Hu on the Hypothalamic–Pituitary–Ovarian Axis and Inflammatory Response in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Rats

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 6, June 2026.
RHF improves sex hormone secretion imbalance, restores the estrous cycle, inhibits ovarian hyperplasia and pathology, and reduces systemic and local ovarian inflammation in PCOS rats via enhancing HPO axis function and suppressing NLRP3 inflammasome signaling pathway activation.

Aosta Valley animal cancer registry: A collaborative initiative for monitoring cancer burden in animals

open access: yesVeterinary Record Open, Volume 13, Issue 1, June 2026.
Abstract Background Animal cancer registry data are important for monitoring animal health, for prevention and research in veterinary medicine, and for comparative oncology. Since people and animals share the same environment and are exposed to many common risk factors, cancer patterns in animals may have a sentinel function for human health.

Protein Tyrosine Phosphatase 1B‐Mediated Granulosa Cell Insulin Resistance Links Metabolic Stress to Aging‐Relevant Ovarian Dysfunction and Is Reversed by Gengnianchun

open access: yesAging Cell, Volume 25, Issue 6, June 2026.
Metabolic stress induces insulin resistance and upregulates PTP1B in granulosa cells, leading to aging‐relevant ovarian dysfunction. Gengnianchun (GNC) suppresses PTP1B, restores IRS1–AKT2–GLUT4 signaling, and preserves follicles, highlighting PTP1B as a therapeutic target for ovarian dysfunction in metabolically vulnerable states.
