Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

SUM GRAPH BASED ACCESS STRUCTURE IN A SECRET SHARING SCHEME

open access: yes, 2008
. Secret sharing scheme is a method to distribute secret information to a set P of participants so that only authorised subsets of P can reconstruct the secret.

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

A Novel method to represent Access Tree structure by Context Free Grammar with and-or graph in Key Policy based Attribute based Encryption

open access: yesInternational Journal of Engineering & Technology, 2018
Important and sensitivity data of users in a third party managed internet or cloud always pose various security as well as privacy issues. Attribute-based encryption (ABE) is a pleasant trend in the literature which addresses above problem in an efficient way, and provides data security and fine-grained access control in a decentralized manner,.

Optimal Matching between Spatial Datasets under Capacity Constraints [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Consider a set of customers (e.g., WiFi receivers) and a set of service providers (e.g., wireless access points), where each provider has a capacity and the quality of service offered to its customers is anti-proportional to their distance.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

A CONSTRUCTION OF PERFECT SECRET-SHARING SCHEMES FOR THE ACCESS STRUCTURES BASED ON AN INFINITE CLASS OF GRAPHS WITH LOW INFORMATION RATIO

open access: yesProceedings of the 33rd International Academic Conference, Vienna, 2017
Secret-sharing is an interesting branch of modern cryptography. It is crucial in the security of information storage and has found numerous applications in many fields. In a secret-sharing scheme, there is a dealer who has a secret key, a finite set P of participants and a collection ? of subsets of P called the access structure. Each subset in ?

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Drug target affinity prediction based on multi-scale gated power graph and multi-head linear attention mechanism.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
For the purpose of developing new drugs and repositioning existing ones, accurate drug-target affinity (DTA) prediction is essential. While graph neural networks are frequently utilized for DTA prediction, it is difficult for existing single-scale graph ...
