Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Differential expression of cancer‐related genes supports prediction of poor response to first‐line treatments in T‐ALL pediatric patients with high minimal residual disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

Graph Sampling for Linked Data

open access: yes, 2013
Results for Graph Sampling for Linked Data, a submission for ISWC 2013 We apply different rewrite methods to transform our RDF graph into an unweighted directed graph with unlabelled edges. The rewritten graph is analysed using different standard network

Optimized sampling of graph signals [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
A graph signal is a vector, for which complicated dependencies between the vector components can be expressed by a weight matrix that connects components that, e.g., tend to take similar values.

Efficiently Approximating Top- $k$ Sequential Patterns in Transactional Graphs

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In real-world networks, an edge (or vertex) may be associated with a transaction database, where each transaction consists of a set of items to describe the attributes or behaviors of the edge (or vertex).

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Research on Urban Road Traffic Flow Prediction Based on Sa-Dynamic Graph Convolutional Neural Network

open access: yesMathematics
Neural network models based on GNNs often achieve good results in traffic flow prediction tasks of traffic networks. However, most existing GNN-based methods apply a fixed graph structure to capture spatial dependencies between nodes, and fixed graph ...

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

KDM7A and KDM1A inhibition suppresses tumour promoting pathways in prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Treatment resistance is a major challenge for patients with advanced prostate cancer. This study examined an alternative approach to target the major prostate cancer‐promoting pathway by targeting epigenetic factors, whose levels are higher in tumours.
