UI-Design driven model-based testing

open access: yes, 2009
Testing interactive systems is notoriously difficult. Not only do we need to ensure that the functionality of the developed system is correct with respect to the requirements and specifications, we also need to ensure that the user interface to the ...

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Optimal design for goodness-of-fit of the Michaelis-Menten enzyme kinetic function [PDF]

open access: yes
We construct efficient designs for the Michaelis-Menten enzyme kinetic model capable of checking model assumption. An extended model, called EMAX model is also considered for this purpose.

A Programmable Metasurface Framework With Modular Architecture for Flexible and Scalable Deployment

open access: yesIEEE Access
This work presents a programmable metasurface framework featuring a modular, tile-based architecture that decouples the control electronics from the metasurface panel. Unlike traditional monolithic designs that have challenges in terms of scalability and

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Liquid biopsy‐based diagnostic evaluation of hypermethylated CpG sites for ovarian cancer diagnosis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This schematic outlines the workflow from biomarker identification to duplex MethyLight assay validation for epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis using cfDNA‐based liquid biopsy. Initial screening of hypermethylated CpG candidates (cg02957270, cg10061138 cg00480298, COL2A1) was performed in tissue using ARMS‐PCR, COBRA, qPCR and image analysis. Selected

Piotr Findeisen

open access: yes, 1992
This document presents the Graphical Extension (GE) to the EARA Model, used in the Metaview project. Similar to the EARA Model having two layers: one for describing a development method (environment) and another to describe actual designs or systems for ...

CONCEPTUAL PRODUCT DESIGN IN VIRTUAL PROTOTYPING

open access: yesJournal of Industrial Design and Engineering Graphics, 2009
A conceptual model of the industrial design process for isolation against vibrations is proposed and described. This model can be used to design products subject to functional, manufacturing, ergonomic, aesthetic constraints.
