Green coffee ameliorates components of diet-induced metabolic syndrome in rats
Metabolic syndrome, especially obesity, increases the risk of type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. We hypothesised that green coffee will attenuate metabolic, cardiovascular and liver parameters in high-carbohy-drate high-fat diet-fed rats.

Shaping Carbon Nitrides for Advanced Macrostructures
This review examines how carbon nitride can be shaped through a range of printing and interfacial assembly methods. By bringing together additive manufacturing and liquid–liquid structuring concepts, carbon nitride is moving beyond its traditional powder‐based photocatalyst form toward digitally designed robust macroscale architectures with high design

The effect of dewaxing of green coffee on the coffee brew
The two commercially most important mild treatments for green coffee are the steam treatment and the dewaxing process. In the former treatment the green coffee is just steamed. In the dewaxing process the waxy layer is extracted from the green coffee with an organic solvent, after which this coffee is also steamed to remove solvent residues.

Sensory Characteristics of Espresso Coffee According to Green Coffee Processing [PDF]
Abstract Coffee beans are processed from coffee cherries by either natural, pulped natural, or washing. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the physiochemical and sensory characteristics of espresso coffees processed by different methods. The color of the washed coffee sample presented the highest value of lightness while the natural coffee ...

Plasma‐induced ligand polymerization on colloidal quantum dots (QDs) renders them resistant to organic solvents, enabling conventional photoresist‐based photolithography. This approach achieves microscale patterning with feature sizes down to 3 µm, preserving the optical properties of the QDs and offering a simple and scalable route for QD‐based ...
