DETERMINATION OF TEMPERATURE DURING DEPTH GRINDING AND CONDITIONS FOR ITS DECREASE [PDF]
A theoretical analysis of the conditions for reducing the temperature of grinding has been carried out and it has been shown that temperature of deep grinding is greater than under conventional multi-pass grinding with the same processing capacity.

This study shows that superalloys used in aircraft engine disks become much more prone to deformation at high temperatures if they have been strained during manufacturing. This effect increases with the level of prior strain but eventually reaches a limit.

Numerical Simulation and Analysis of Cycloidal Gear Forming Grinding Temperature Field
Forming grinding process is one of the methods for finishing the cycloidal gear. When the grinding process parameters are not suitable, the instantaneous heat generated in the grinding zone will cause the tooth surface burn.

Active Corrosion Protection of Sintered AA7075 Aluminum Alloy via Mn Powder Addition
AA7075 containing Mn‐rich particles is fabricated via spark plasma sintering using AA7075 and Mn powders. Corrosion resistance is evaluated through dip‐and‐dry tests using 0.1 M NaCl (pH 6.0), and mass loss decreases with increasing Mn addition. Mn‐rich particles function as a source of Mn ions, and formation of Mn‐accumulation films on Cu‐containing ...

Additive Manufacturing of Alumina‐Reinforced Elastomers
Vat‐photopolymerized elastomers reinforced with platelet‐shaped alumina exhibited preferential orientation, reduced porosity, and significantly enhanced mechanical performance. A 3 wt% platelet loading increased tensile strength from 12.4 to 45.7 MPa, highlighting the critical role of filler morphology in elastomeric VPP composites.

Calibration of emissivity value of 18CrNiMo7-6 steel and study on cylindrical grinding temperature
To study the variation rule of workpiece temperature concerning machining parameters in the cylindrical transverse grinding process of gear steel, 18CrNiMo7-6 gear steel was selected as the workpiece material, and a CBN grinding wheel was used as the ...

Digitalizing electroplating requires both domain knowledge and interoperability. This work introduces PlatOn, a domain ontology for trivalent chromium plating and coating characterization, and a hybrid pipeline that aligns it to a mid‐level reference ontology by combining eight similarity metrics with language model reasoning. Expert‐validated mappings

Intermittent grinding temperature modeling for grinding system state monitoring
A dry and wet intermittent grinding temperature mathematical model for the thermal macro- or micro-cycle was developed and studied. The heating stage corresponds to the wheel cutting segment passage time through the every contact zone point.
