Evaluating the Utility of Paired Tumor and Germline Targeted DNA Sequencing for Pediatric Oncology Patients: A Single Institution Report

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate the diagnostic yield and utility of universal paired tumor–normal multigene panel sequencing in newly diagnosed pediatric solid and central nervous system (CNS) tumor patients and to compare the detection of germline pathogenic/likely pathogenic variants (PV/LPVs) against established clinical referral criteria for cancer ...

Ground state solution for Schrödinger-Choquard equation: doubly critical case

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
In this paper, we investigate the following Schrödinger-Choquard equation: − Δ u + u = ( I α ∗ | u | 2 α ♯ ) | u | 2 α ♯ − 2 u + | u | q − 2 u + | u | r − 2 u , x ∈ R N , $$ -\Delta u+u = (I_{\alpha }*|u|^{2_{\alpha }^{\sharp }})|u|^{2_{\alpha }^{ \sharp

Homoclinic solutions for second-order Hamiltonian systems with periodic potential

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2018
In this paper, we study the second-order Hamiltonian systems u¨−L(t)u+∇W(t,u)=0,t∈R, $$ \ddot{u}-L(t)u+\nabla W(t,u)=0,\quad t\in \mathbb{R}, $$ where L∈C(R,RN×N) $L\in C(\mathbb{R},\mathbb{R}^{N\times N})$ is a T-periodic and positive definite matrix ...

Existence of ground state solutions for a class of Choquard equations with local nonlinear perturbation and variable potential

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2021
In this paper, we focus on the existence of solutions for the Choquard equation { − Δ u + V ( x ) u = ( I α ∗ | u | α N + 1 ) | u | α N − 1 u + λ | u | p − 2 u , x ∈ R N ; u ∈ H 1 ( R N ) , $$\begin{aligned} \textstyle\begin{cases} {-}\Delta {u}+V(x)u ...

Preferences of Pediatric Patients and Their Caregivers for Chemotherapy‐Induced Nausea and Vomiting Control Endpoints: A Mixed Methods Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Although not always achieved, complete chemotherapy‐induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) control is the conventional goal of CINV prophylaxis. In this two‐center, mixed‐methods study, we sought to understand the preferences of adolescent patients and family caregivers for CINV control endpoints.

Ground states for a class of asymptotically periodic Schrödinger–Poisson systems with critical growth

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2018
The purpose of this paper is to study the existence of ground state solution for the Schr\"{o}dinger–Poisson systems: \[\begin{cases} -\Delta u+V(x)u+K(x)\phi u=Q(x)|u|^{4}u+f(x,u),&x\in\mathbb{R}^{3},\\ -\Delta\phi=K(x)u^{2},&x\in\mathbb{R}^{3}, \end ...

Mindlin solution on ground deformation caused by the trench excavation during installation of concrete diaphragm wall panels

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
Concrete diaphragm walls (CDWs) are widely used as support of deep excavation in soft ground in urban areas. Ground deformation occurs during the excavation of trenches for the installation of the CDW panels due to ground stress release.

Existence of Solutions for Planar Kirchhoff–Choquard Problems

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
In this article, we are interested in the study of the following Kirchhoff–Choquard equations: −a+b∫R2|∇u|2dxΔu+V(x)u=λ(ln|x|∗u2)u+f(u),x∈R2, where λ>0,a>0,b>0, V and f are continuous functions with some appropriate assumptions.

Exact ground states for the four-electron problem in a Hubbard ladder

open access: yes, 2006
The exact ground state of four electrons in an arbitrary large two leg Hubbard ladder is deduced from nine analytic and explicit linear equations. The used procedure is described, and the properties of the ground state are analyzed.

NRASQ61R Expression in Lymphatic Endothelial Cells Causes Enlarged Vessels, Hemorrhagic Chylous Effusions, and High Mortality in a Mouse Model of Kaposiform Lymphangiomatosis

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is an aggressive complex lymphatic anomaly. Patients exhibit malformed lymphatic vessels and often develop hemorrhagic effusions and elevated angiopoietin‐2 (Ang‐2) levels. A somatic NRAS p.Q61R (NRASQ61R) mutation has been associated with KLA.
