Ground state solutions for Hamiltonian systems with double exponential growth

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
This study explores the existence of ground state solutions for a Hamiltonian elliptic system in the whole plane R 2 $\mathbb{R}^{2}$ , involving double exponential growth nonlinearities, which are given by the Trudinger–Moser inequalities in weighted ...

In vitro models of cancer‐associated fibroblast heterogeneity uncover subtype‐specific effects of CRISPR perturbations

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

Perspectives in educating molecular pathologists on liquid biopsy: Toward integrative, equitable, and decentralized precision oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Liquid biopsy enables minimally invasive, real‐time molecular profiling through analysis of circulating biomarkers in biological fluids. This Perspective highlights the importance of training pathologists through integrative educational programs, such as the European Masters in Molecular Pathology, to ensure effective and equitable implementation of ...

Ground state solutions for magnetic Schrödinger equations with polynomial growth

open access: yesAdvances in Nonlinear Analysis
In this article, we investigate the following nonlinear magnetic Schrödinger equations: (−i∇+A(x))2u+V(x)u=f1(x,∣v∣2)v,(−i∇+A(x))2v+V(x)v=f2(x,∣u∣2)u,\left\{\begin{array}{l}{\left(-i\nabla +A\left(x))}^{2}u+V\left(x)u={f}_{1}\left(x,{| v| }^{2})v ...

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Symmetry and concentration behavior of ground state in axially symmetric domains

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2004
We let Ω(r) be the axially symmetric bounded domains which satisfy some suitable conditions, then the ground-state solutions of the semilinear elliptic equation in Ω(r) are nonaxially symmetric and concentrative on one side.

Ground state solutions for non-autonomous dynamical systems [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2014
We study the existence of periodic solutions for a second order non-autonomous dynamical system. We allow both sublinear and superlinear problems. We obtain ground state solutions.

Symmetric ground state solutions of m-coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equations

open access: yesNonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 2009
We prove the existence of radial and radially decreasing ground states of an m-coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equation with a general nonlinearity.

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.
