Group Field Theory and Its Cosmology in a Matter Reference Frame

open access: yesUniverse, 2018
While the equations of general relativity take the same form in any coordinate system, choosing a suitable set of coordinates is essential in any practical application.

Inequivalent coherent state representations in group field theory

open access: yes, 2018
In this paper we propose an algebraic formulation of group field theory and consider non-Fock representations based on coherent states. We show that we can construct representations with infinite number of degrees of freedom on compact base manifolds. We

Mechanistic basis for inhibition of the extended‐spectrum β‐lactamase GES‐1 by enmetazobactam and tazobactam

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is of huge importance, resulting in over 1 million deaths each year. Here, we describe how a new drug, enmetazobactam, designed to help fight resistant bacterial diseases, inhibits a key enzyme (GES‐1) responsible for AMR. Our data show it is a more potent inhibitor than the related tazobactam, with high‐level computation

Renormalization of Group Field Theories for Quantum Gravity: New Computations and Some Suggestions

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2021
We discuss motivation and goals of renormalization analyses of group field theory models of simplicial 4d quantum gravity, and review briefly the status of this research area.

Imeglimin attenuates liver fibrosis by inhibiting vesicular ATP release from hepatic stellate cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Imeglimin, at clinically relevant concentrations, inhibits vesicular ATP accumulation and release from hepatic stellate cells, thereby attenuating purinergic signaling and reducing fibrogenic activation. This mechanism reveals a newly identified antifibrotic action of imeglimin beyond glycemic control.

Progress in Solving the Nonperturbative Renormalization Group for Tensorial Group Field Theory

open access: yesUniverse, 2019
This manuscript aims at giving new advances on the functional renormalization group applied to the tensorial group field theory. It is based on the series of our three papers (Lahoche, et al., Class. Quantum Gravity 2018, 35, 19), (Lahoche, et al., Phys.

Heavy handed quest for fixed points in multiple coupling scalar theories in the ε expansion

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
The tensorial equations for non trivial fully interacting fixed points at lowest order in the ε expansion in 4 − ε and 3 − ε dimensions are analysed for N-component fields and corresponding multi-index couplings λ which are symmetric tensors with four or

Continuous point symmetries in group field theories [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and Theoretical, 2017
We discuss the notion of symmetries in non-local field theories characterized by integro-differential equations of motion, from a geometric perspective. We then focus on Group Field Theory (GFT) models of quantum gravity and provide a general analysis of their continuous point symmetry transformations, including the generalized conservation laws ...

Lost in Translation: Topological Singularities in Group Field Theory

open access: yes, 2010
Random matrix models generalize to Group Field Theories (GFT) whose Feynman graphs are dual to gluings of higher dimensional simplices. It is generally assumed that GFT graphs are always dual to pseudo manifolds.
