On Lattices of Formations of Finite Groups
Algebra Colloquium, 2010Let ω be a set of primes with |ω| > 1, and m > n ≥ 0 be integers. It is proved that the lattice of all τ-closed m-multiply ω-saturated formations is not a sublattice of the lattice of all τ-closed n-multiply ω-saturated formations.

Formations of absolutely solvable groups
Publicationes Mathematicae Debrecen, 2006A finite group \(G\) is said to be absolutely solvable if it has a chief series all of whose factors are absolutely irreducible modules over their prime field. The main result in this paper states that the class of absolutely solvable groups is a formation containing the supersolvable groups. This formation is not saturated neither closed for subgroups.
