Impact of Attributes on Group Formation
2018 IEEE/ACM International Conference on Advances in Social Networks Analysis and Mining (ASONAM), 2018Previous work has shown that selectivity based on opinions and values of attributes is an important tie-formation mechanism in human social networks. Less well-known is how selectivity influences the formation and composition of whole groups in which interactions extend beyond the dyads.

Formation Task in a Group of Quadrotors
2015The paper is dedicated to a formation task in a group of quadrotors. It contains a brief analysis of existing methods for the formation task. The authors also propose a new method for solving the formation task, which make it possible to ensure accurate compliance with distances between quadrotors in the formation, as well as featuring low ...

Formations of absolutely solvable groups
Publicationes Mathematicae Debrecen, 2006A finite group \(G\) is said to be absolutely solvable if it has a chief series all of whose factors are absolutely irreducible modules over their prime field. The main result in this paper states that the class of absolutely solvable groups is a formation containing the supersolvable groups. This formation is not saturated neither closed for subgroups.
