In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Lagrangian mapping class groups from a group homological point of view
We focus on two kinds of infinite index subgroups of the mapping class group of a surface associated with a Lagrangian submodule of the first homology of a surface.

Background Grass allergy immunotherapies often consist of a mix of different grass extracts, each containing several proteins of different physiochemical properties; however, the subtle contributions of each protein are difficult to elucidate. This study

The Homology of Warped Product Submanifolds of Spheres and Their Applications
The aim of the current article is to formulate sufficient conditions for the Laplacian and a gradient of the warping function of a compact warped product submanifold Σβ1+β2 in a unit sphere Sd that provides trivial homology and fundamental groups.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Three-manifolds, virtual homology, and group determinants
We apply representation theory to study the homology of equivariant Dehn-fillings of a given finite, regular cover of a compact 3-manifold with boundary a torus.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Eilenberg swindles and higher large scale homology of products of trees
We show that uniformly finite homology of products of $n$ trees vanishes in all degrees except degree $n$, where it is infinite dimensional. Our method is geometric and applies to several large scale homology theories, including almost equivariant ...

Unraveling chaos: A topological analysis of simplicial homology groups and their foldings
In this article, we introduce a new type of simplicial homology group called the chaotic simplicial homology group. We construct the structure of this group and obtain some types of conditional foldings and unfoldings restricted to the elements of the ...
