Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

The Magnus representation and homology cobordism groups of homology cylinders
A homology cylinder over a compact manifold is a homology cobordism between two copies of the manifold together with a boundary parametrization. We study abelian quotients of the homology cobordism group of homology cylinders. For homology cylinders over

A group of segmented viruses contains genome segments sharing homology with multiple viral taxa
The discovery of diverse segmented RNA viruses through metatranscriptomics has enabled researchers to trace their evolutionary trajectories. However, this effort has been hindered by the limited availability of complete genome sequences and the low ...

Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

The Lascar groups and the 1st homology groups in model theory
Let $p$ be a strong type of an algebraically closed tuple over $B=\acl^{\eq}(B)$ in any theory $T$. Depending on a ternary relation $\indo^*$ satisfying some basic axioms (there is at least one such, namely the trivial independence in $T$), the first ...

Algebraic Structures Based on a Classifying Space of a Compact Lie Group
We analyze the algebraic structures based on a classifying space of a compact Lie group. We construct the connected graded free Lie algebra structure by considering the rationally nontrivial indecomposable and decomposable generators of homotopy groups ...
