Simultaneous quantification of 12 different nucleotides and nucleosides released from renal epithelium and in human urine samples using ion-pair reversed-phase HPLC [PDF]
Nucleotides and nucleosides are not only involved in cellular metabolism but also act extracellularly via P1 and P2 receptors, to elicit a wide variety of physiological and pathophysiological responses through paracrine and autocrine signalling pathways.

Guanosine triphosphate cyclohydrolase activity in rat tissues [PDF]
The GTP cyclohydrolase activity of rat tissues has been studied by means of the measurement of formic acid release and neopterin synthesis from GTP. After gel filtration of a 45%-satd.-(NH4)2SO4 fraction of liver homogenates, three enzyme fractions were separated and named A1, A2 and A3 according to the order of their elution.

A guanosine 5′-triphosphate-dependent protein kinase is localized in the outer envelope membrane of pea chloroplasts [PDF]
A guanosine 5-triphosphate (GTP)-dependent protein kinase was detected in preparations of outer chloroplast envelope membranes of pea (Pisum sativum L.) chloroplasts.

Microtubules are dynamic tubulin polymers which elongate by addition of bent guanosine triphosphate tubulin to the tips of curving protofilaments. Here authors use Brownian dynamics modeling and electron cryotomography to show that the lateral activation

Protocol for structural and biochemical analyses of RhoA GTPase
Summary: Ras GTPases in complex with Guanosine triphosphate (GTP) or GTP analog exhibit dynamic equilibrium between two interconvertible conformations—an inactive state 1 and an active state 2.

Effect of GTP and Ca2+ on inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate induced Ca2+ release from permeabilized rat exocrine pancreatic acinar cells [PDF]
The effects of Ca2+ and GTP on the release of Ca2+ from the inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP3) sensitive Ca2+ compartment were investigated with digitonin permeabilized rat pancreatic acinar cells.

Macrophage‐derived MLKL in alcohol‐associated liver disease: Regulation of phagocytosis
EtOH causes leaky gut allowing bacteria and PAMPs into the liver, resulting in hepatic inflammation and injury. We demonstrate that LPS induces STAT1‐mediated expression and phosphorylation of MLKL in macrophages and identify a novel function that myeloid MLKL translocates to phagosomes and lysosomes and regulates phagocytosis, which contributes to the
