Effectiveness of Learning Through Guided Inquiry
The research on effectiveness of teaching through inquiry is quite rich, but there is no consensus about the impact of inquiry on acquisition of scientific knowledge. Furthermore, little attention is paid to medium-term and long-term retention of learning outcomes through inquiry.
