Tailoring Successive Magnetic‐Dielectric Synergy for Enhancing Electromagnetic Absorption in Ultralong Heterostructure Chains Assisted by High Static Magnetic Field

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work proposes a high static magnetic field (HSMF) driven dual‐low‐dimension strategy for fabricating magnetic‐dielectric heterostructure (Fe3O4@MoS2) chains with programmable lengths. The constructed successive magnetic‐dielectric synergy, arising from uniaxial anisotropy‐enhanced magnetic response and abundant heterointerfaces that boost ...

Cucurbitacin Profile and Metalloid Stress Response in Cucurbita pepo L. Upon Arsenic Exposure

open access: yesPlant Direct
Cucurbits are cultivated worldwide in regions with high concentrations of arsenic (As), a hazardous metalloid, affecting produce quality and increasing the consumer exposure.

From genes to ecosystems: Decoding plant tolerance mechanisms to arsenic stress

open access: yesHeliyon
Arsenic (As), a metalloid of considerable toxicity, has become increasingly bioavailable through anthropogenic activities, raising As contamination levels in groundwater and agricultural soils worldwide. This bioavailability has profound implications for

β-glucuronidase use as a single internal control gene may confound analysis in FMR1 mRNA toxicity studies.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2018
Relationships between Fragile X Mental Retardation 1 (FMR1) mRNA levels in blood and intragenic FMR1 CGG triplet expansions support the pathogenic role of RNA gain of function toxicity in premutation (PM: 55-199 CGGs) related disorders. Real-time PCR (RT-

Carboxyphenolate Coordination Frameworks for High‐Voltage Calcium Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A hexaanionic carboxyphenolate coordination framework, Ca2‐M‐THBPD (M = Mg, Ca, Ba), exhibits ligand‐centered enolate‐quinonoid redox activity enabling tunable, high‐voltage Ca2+ storage (3.5 V vs Ca2+/Ca) modulated by spectator cations. The amorphous structure accommodates reversible divalent‐ion insertion, contributing to enhanced cycling stability ...

Bionic Solar‐Powered Heavy Metal Trap for Eco‐Friendly Sludge Drying and Simultaneous Electricity Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Herein, we propose a solar‐powered heavy metal trap (SPHT) for sludge disposal. The indoor experiments demonstrated that the sludge water content decreased from 90 % to 31 %, coupled with a decrease in heavy metal content to 6 % at most. Furthermore, the designed SPHT generated an initial potential of 0.10 V, and monitoring this hydrovoltaic potential ...

SERRATE Regulates Floral Meristem Activity by Antagonizing SHOOT MERISTEMLESS and Repressing Cytokinin Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Floral meristem (FM) activity is crucial for the initiation of floral organs. In this study, SE represses IPT7 expression and cytokinin signaling via both the miR171c‐5p–KNAT2 and miR164c–CUC1/2–KNAT2 regulatory modules, thereby repressing FM activity. In contrast, STM induces both KNAT2 and IPT7 expression.
