Colorectal Cancer Cell's Weapon: RNF32 Engages SPP1+ Macrophages to Foster Liver Metastasis, Targeted by Indole‐3‐Acetic Acid

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cytoplasmic RNF32 fuels CRC liver metastasis by degrading GSK3β, which stabilizes β‐catenin and activates Wnt/EMT. Moreover, RNF32 rewires the metastatic niche: it depletes CD8+/CD4+ T and NK cells while recruiting SPP1+ macrophages (which boost tumor stemness via CD44), fibroblasts, and immunosuppressive monocytes to aid colonization.

From the Gut to the Brain: Microplastic‐Associated Neurovascular Dysfunction and Implications for Stroke Risk

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chronic oral exposure to microplastics may disrupt gut microbiota homeostasis and intestinal barrier integrity, potentially engaging the gut–brain axis and systemic inflammatory responses. These alterations may be associated with impaired blood–brain barrier function, cerebral microvascular dysfunction, and enhanced endothelial inflammation, pro ...

Study on the effects of intestinal flora on gouty arthritis

open access: yesFrontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology
Gouty arthritis (GA), a metabolic and immunologic disease, primarily affects joints. Dysbiosis of intestinal flora is an important cause of GA. The metabolic disorders of intestinal flora leading to GA and immune disorders might play an important role in

Gut Microbe‐Driven Resistance Mechanisms in Propylea Japonica: Insights from Horizontal Gene Transfer and Oxidative Phosphorylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Acinetobacter regulates dinotefuran tolerance in Propylea japonica by mediating the expression of the horizontally transferred gene PjDUF1. Abstract Insect–microbial symbiont relationships are widespread in nature and often involve lateral gene transfer.

INTESTINAL FLORA AFFECTS GUT-BRAIN AXIS

open access: yesJournal of the Siena Academy of Sciences, 2019
Extreme changes of the gut microbiota affect brain function and behaviour, as measured in animal models. A question arises as to the potential clinical relevance of these findings, especially when one considers the influence of dietary habits on the gut flora diversity.

SAGE: Spatially Aware Gene Selection and Dual‐View Embedding Fusion for Domain Identification in Spatial Transcriptomics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SAGE is a unified framework for spatial domain identification in spatial transcriptomics that jointly models tissue architecture and gene programs. Topic‐driven gene selection (NMF plus classifier‐based scoring) highlights spatially informative genes, while dual‐view graph embedding fuses local expression and non‐local functional relations.

Effect of IFN-τ on intestinal flora and metabolomics of Escherichia coli-mediated endometritis in mice

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology
Endometritis is a common reproductive disease in dairy cows, which can lead to low fertility or infertility and cause significant economic losses to the dairy farming industry.
