Power Routing for Cascaded H-Bridge Converters [PDF]
Modular power converters are expected to play a major role in medium- and high-voltage/power applications. Normally, each module processes the same amount of power; however, this does not take into consideration that different modules can have a different remaining useful lifetime. This paper proposes the concept of power routing for cascaded H-bridge (

From mice to humans—divergent strategies for intestinal homeostasis and regeneration
Recent advances such as organoid genome editing, xenotransplantation, imaging, and whole‐genome sequencing have enabled direct studies of human intestinal stem cells (ISCs). These studies reveal species‐specific features, including slower ISC proliferation, distinct injury responses, slower somatic mutation accumulation in humans, and an inverse ...

A modified H-bridge multilevel inverter for photovoltaic system
This paper presents a modified H-bridge seven-level single-phase grid-connected inverter for photovoltaic system with a novel pulse-width-modulated (PWM) control scheme. The inverter is capable of producing seven output-voltage levels (V-dc, 2V(dc)/3, V-dc/3, 0, -V-dc, -2V(dc)/3, -V-dc/3) from the dc supply voltage.

Active power decoupling and controlling for single-phase FACTS device
Single-phase FACTS device has a bulky and short-life electrolytic capacitor to absorb the ripple pulsating at twice of the line frequency in DC side, resulting in lower power density. This paper introduced a structure of three-phase bridge which added an

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Model Predictive Control of Multilevel Cascaded H-Bridge Inverters
This paper presents a model predictive current control algorithm that is suitable for multilevel converters and its application to a three-phase cascaded H-bridge inverter. This control method uses a discrete-time model of the system to predict the future value of the current for all voltage vectors, and selects the vector which minimizes a cost ...

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have
