Towards application of water extract from heat‐killedLactococcus lactisH61 as a cosmetic ingredient

Letters in Applied Microbiology, 2019
We previously reported that oral administration of heat-killed Lactococcus lactis H61 improves certain human skin properties. For topical application of this strain, we reasoned that a bacterial cell extract obtained with an aqueous solvent could be readily formulated as a cosmetic ingredient.

Identification of Low Molecular Weight Peptides in Gouda‐type Cheese and Evidence for the Formation of These Peptides from 23 N‐terminal Residues of αsl‐casein by Proteinases of Streptococcus cremoris H61

Journal of Food Science, 1986
ABSTRACT Water‐soluble extracts from Gouda‐type cheese in a 0.05M sodium citrate buffer at pH 4.0 were fractionated by high‐pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) before and after ripening for 1, 2, and 3 months. Three major peptides were isolated from each sample of extract, but size of the peaks increased with ripening period.

CPI-0004Na, a new doxorubicin prodrug, reduces growth of 3LL-H61 carcinoma lung metastases in C57BI/6 mice.

Journal of experimental therapeutics & oncology, 2005
The ETAP concept (Extracellularly Tumor-Activated Prodrug) is a new approach developed to overcome the lack of selectivity and the side effects responsible for the limited efficacy of chemotherapeutic agents. CPI-0004Na, a doxorubicin (Dox) prototype prodrug of this type, is less toxic than free Dox and showed increased efficacy against subcutaneous ...

Low frequency of ras oncogene mutations in Philadelphia-positive acute leukemia and report of a novel mutation H61 Leu in a single case.

Leukemia, 1992
Activating ras mutations are frequent (25-60%) in chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) and in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) (30%), in contrast to chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in which the incidence is very low (0-3%). This might reflect that the leukemic cell in CML is at a level of differentiation in which ras gene activation is not involved or ...
