Heavy hadron spectroscopy: a quark model perspective [PDF]

open access: yesInt. J. Mod. Phys. E Vol. 22 (2013) 1330011, 2012
We present recent results of hadron spectroscopy and hadron-hadron interaction from the perspective of constituent quark models. We pay special attention to the role played by higher order Fock space components in the hadron spectra and the connection of this extension with the hadron-hadron interaction.

Charged hadron fragmentation functions from collider data [PDF]

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal C, 2018
We present NNFF1.1h, a new determination of unidentified charged-hadron fragmentation functions (FFs) and their uncertainties. Experimental measurements of transverse-momentum distributions for charged-hadron production in proton-(anti)proton collisions ...

Hadrons in Nuclei [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2004
Changes of hadronic properties in dense nuclear matter as predicted by theory have usually been investigated by means of relativistic heavy-ion reactions. In this talk I show that observable consequences of such changes can also be seen in more elementary reactions on nuclei.

Flavorful leptoquarks at hadron colliders [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
$B$-physics data and flavor symmetries suggest that leptoquarks can have masses as low as few ${\cal{O}}(\mbox{TeV})$, predominantly decay to third generation quarks, and highlight $pp \to b \mu \mu$ signatures from single production and $pp \to b b \mu \

Excited Hadron Channels in Hadronization

open access: yesProceedings of 11th International Conference on Hard and Elecctromagnetic Probes of High-Energy Nuclear Collisions — PoS(HardProbes2023)
The proper treatment of hadronic resonances plays an important role for many aspects of heavy ion collisions. We expect this to be the case also for hadronization, due to the large degeneracies of excited states, and the abundant production of hadrons from their decays.

High-Luminosity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC) : Preliminary Design Report

open access: yes, 2015
The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is one of the largest scientific instruments ever built. Since opening up a new energy frontier for exploration in 2010, it has gathered a global user community of about 7,000 scientists working in fundamental particle ...

Elliptic flow of electrons from heavy-flavour hadron decays at mid-rapidity in Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN=2.76 TeV [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
The elliptic flow of electrons from heavy- flavour hadron decays at mid-rapidity (|y| < 0.7) is measured in Pb-Pb collisions at √sNN=2.76 TeV with ALICE at the LHC.

Hadron Tomography [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2006
Generalized parton distributions can be used to obtain information about the dependence of parton distributions on the impact parameter. Potential consequences for T -odd single-spin asymmetries are discussed.

Study of Beauty Hadron Decays into Pairs of Charm Hadrons [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2014
First observations of the decays $ _b^0 \to _c^+ D_{(s)}^-$ are reported using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3\,{\rm fb}^{-1}$ collected at 7 and 8 TeV center-of-mass energy in proton-proton collisions with the LHCb detector.
