Orchestrating Anion–π+ Interactions to Accelerate Metal‐Free Room‐Temperature Phosphorescence

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Tuning anion–π+ interactions in pyridinium iodide contact ion pairs enables ultrafast metal‐free room‐temperature phosphorescence (540–605 nm) with radiative rates up to 5.2×105 s−1. Strong iodide→π+ charge‐transfer coupling, enhanced spin–orbit interactions, and dynamic ion‐pair organization accelerate intersystem crossing and emission, establishing ...

Enhancing Sensitivity across Scales with Highly Sensitive Hall Effect‐Based Auxetic Tactile Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
Herein, a tactile sensor based on hall‐effect sensors with an auxetic structure, called Hall effect‐based auxetic tactile sensor (HEATS), is proposed. The change in magnetism resulting from the deformation of the auxetic structure is utilized for sensing.

A Two‐Stage Characterization Pipeline and Open‐Source Framework for Reproducible Tactile Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
The same soft tactile sensor returns different numbers when embodied in different robots. This is an Embodiment Gap that no shared framework currently captures transparently. A two‐stage characterization pipeline, paired with a FAIR open‐source digital datasheet, decouples intrinsic sensor behavior from embodiment effects and condenses cross‐laboratory
