XTR Implementation on Reconfigurable Hardware [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Recently, Lenstra and Verheul proposed an efficient cryptosystem called XTR. This system represents elements of F,6 with order dividing p(2) - p + 1 by their trace over F-p2. Compared with the usual representation, this one achieves a ratio of three between security size and manipulated data.

Artificial Intelligence in Systemic Sclerosis: Clinical Applications, Challenges, and Future Directions

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease defined by immune dysregulation, vasculopathy, and progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. Despite advances in care, major complications such as interstitial lung disease (ILD) and myocardial involvement remain the leading causes of morbidity and mortality.

Observer‐Based Adaptive Event‐Triggered Tracking Control for Fuzzy TS Systems With Premise Mismatch

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This paper presents an adaptive logistic event‐triggered observer‐based tracking controller for Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy systems under constrained inputs and network delays. Leveraging a hybrid LMI and Secretary Bird Optimization approach, this strategy significantly minimizes communication overhead and computational burden while ensuring optimal reference ...

FPGA-Based Implementation of Size-Adaptive Privacy Amplification in Quantum Key Distribution

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2017
In a quantum key distribution (QKD) system, privacy amplification (PA) is an essential procedure that can effectively eliminate the leaked information to an eavesdropper and distill a secret key.

A hardware implementation of capability-based addressing [PDF]

open access: yesACM SIGOPS Operating Systems Review, 1980
The SWARD architecture, an experimental higher-level architecture, contains the naming and protection concept of capability-based addressing. After discussing the merits of capability-based addressing, its general representation in the SWARD architecture is discussed.

Field Report from Collaborative Research Center 1625: Heterogeneous Research Data Management Using Ontology Representations

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A unified research data management framework for heterogeneous materials data is presented. The system integrates multimodal datasets using ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling interoperability and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data principles. By linking data across scales and workflows, it supports reproducible, Artifitial

High-Performance Hardware Implementation of MPCitH and Picnic3

open access: yesTransactions on Cryptographic Hardware and Embedded Systems
Picnic is a post-quantum digital signature, the security of which relies solely on symmetric-key primitives such as block ciphers and hash functions instead of number theoretic assumptions. One of the main concerns of Picnic is the large signature size.

Towards Defect Phase Diagrams: From Research Data Management to Automated Workflows

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A research data management infrastructure is presented for the systematic integration of heterogeneous experimental and simulation data required for defect phase diagrams. The approach combines openBIS with a companion application for large‐object storage, automated metadata extraction, provenance tracking and federated data access, thereby supporting ...
