Revisiting post-quantum hash proof systems over lattices for Internet of Thing authentications

Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing, 2019
Internet of Things (IoT) has proved to be one of a success subset of cyber-physical systems, and it is receiving much attention among end-users associated with various applications. However, with the popularization of the IoT technologies, network attacks on the IoT environment are also increasing.

Updatable Identity-Based Hash Proof System Based on Lattices and Its Application to Leakage-Resilient Public-Key Encryption Schemes

Journal of Computer Science and Technology, 2018
Identity-based hash proof system is a basic and important primitive. It is widely utilized to construct cryptographic schemes and protocols that are secure against key-leakage attacks. In this paper, we introduce the concept of updatable identity-based hash proof system, in which the related master secret key and the identity secret key can be updated ...

Recursion over Public-Coin Interactive Proof Systems; Faster Hash Verification [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 2023 ACM SIGSAC Conference on Computer and Communications Security, 2023
SNARK is a well-known family of cryptographic tools that is increasingly used in the field of computation integrity at scale. In this area, multiple works have introduced SNARK-friendly cryptographic primitives: hashing, but also encryption and ...

Out of Oddity – New Cryptanalytic Techniques Against Symmetric Primitives Optimized for Integrity Proof Systems

open access: yesLecture Notes in Computer Science, 2020
International audienceThe security and performance of many integrity proof systems like SNARKs, STARKs and Bulletproofs highly depend on the underlying hash function. For this reason several new proposals have recently been developed.

Attribute-based hash proof system

ICINS 2014 - 2014 International Conference on Information and Network Security, 2014
We present attribute-based hash proof systems (ABHPS). Different from the HPS of the past, the witness is produced by the user's attribute in the ABHPS. We also show how to construct a public-key encryption scheme which is semantically secure against adaptive chosen ciphertext attack in selective-set model using ABHPS.

Hash Proof System Based on Lattice

International Journal of Advancements in Computing Technology, 2012
We present a hash proof systems (HPS)based on hard lattice problems including learning with error (LWE) and inhomogeneous small integer solution (ISIS). Different from the HPS in past, ours is with error. That is to say, the deterministic private evaluation algorithm is not always equivalent to the deterministic public evaluation algorithm.
